Broadband Plan

Affordable Connectivity Program

Congress recently created the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), a new, long-term $14 billion program that will replace the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program (EBB Program). Households enrolled in the EBB Program as of 12/31/21 will continue to receive their current monthly benefit during a 60-day transition period.

Program Changes

The maximum monthly benefit will change from $39.99 per month to $30 per month for households not located on qualifying Tribal lands. The monthly benefit will remain at $39.99 per month for households on qualifying Tribal lands.

Households will have new ways to qualify.  You can now use your WIC benefits to qualify, and the income level changes from 135% to 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.

Households that qualified for the Emergency Broadband Benefit due to a substantial loss of income due to job loss or furlough since February 29, 2020 or by meeting the eligibility criteria for a participating provider’s COVID-19 program will need to requalify for the Affordable Connectivity Program.  You will receive additional information if you need to take steps to retain your benefit after the transition period.

Check back in January for available plan and device options.

Emergency Broadband Benefit Program (Ending December 30, 2021 at 6 PM EST)

The Emergency Broadband Benefit is a temporary FCC Program to help households struggling to pay for Internet service during the Pandemic. Eligible Households will receive a monthly discount on broadband service and up to $100 discount towards the purchase of a laptop, desktop computer or tablet. TerraCom will provide eligible customers with free unlimited data each month for the duration of the EBBP, and a tablet with a minimal one-time co-payment from the customer.

A household may obtain broadband service supported by the EBB Program from any participating provider of their choosing and may transfer the benefit to another participating provider at any time.
